How to apply GST Tax to Sales Order

This tutorial demonstrates steps to apply India Localization GST Taxes to Sales Order



Login to Order Management Super User Responsibility

Navigate: Oracle Order Management --> Orders, Returns--> Sales Order



GST Sales Order


Click on the Open button


GST Sales Order


Enter the details in the above as per business requirement

Move to Line Items tab


GST Sales Order


Enter Item details


Please refer to my other tutorial on How to Define Sales Price List for the Items if your requested Item is not defined in the Price List

Click on the Save button
Move to Order Information Tab

For application of taxes click on the Tools at the Top of the screen

Click on the India Tax Details button highlighted above

India Localization form will get open. 
We can see from the above screenshot that the tax amount is zero.

Enter the parameters highlighted
Click on the proceed button

Select the Yes option

You will see blank screen dont worry 
Click on the refresh button

Select Yes button as highlighted above

Here you can see the Tax amount has been populated
We will requery the sales order created earlier

Press F11 key from you Keboard
Enter the order number generated earlier 
Now to requery the detail Press  CTRL+F11 keys simultaneously from keyboard

Please note the tax amount cannot be seen here. 

You will have to navigate the way shown below to see the tax amount

Click on the Tools at the Top of the screen

Click on the India Tax Details button highlighted above 

Note - Ensure you are always at header level then navigate to Tools

You can see here the tax amount is reflecting in the Tax Amount Tab
